Howdy y'all!

Today, I have decided to donate to Shaun Traver's, an old boss and friend, in a charitable walk for AIDS. Every year he walks with the UCSD contingent in the AIDS Walk San Diego. Events such as these are a great way to raise money for events. Almost everyone can contribute through donations or by participating in a local walk in your own community. There are walks organized for many different causes, so no matter you interest there will be an opportunity for you to be involved.

"AIDS Walk San Diego is the largest HIV/AIDS fundraiser and the biggest non-governmental financial provider for HIV/AIDS in San Diego County. Dozens of organizations - serving thousands of clients - rely on funds raised at the annual 5K walk and 10K run to help provide essential prevention and care programs to thousands of men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS.

Please give what you are able, and know that every dollar helps!"

Like Shaun says every dollar helps. So today, I am donating a dollar to Shaun's AIDS walk to help him raise more money than ever.  He was a great boss and he loves raising money through this event so I am more than happy to be supporting him.

P.S. Happy Birthday to my lovely roommate!
